CWL is constructing a large-diameter gravity sewer line from just east of Midtown Jonesboro to a connection point on our Northeast Interceptor Sewer, which is approximately ½ mile east of the Jonesboro Municipal Airport and approximately ¼ mile north of Highland Drive. This line will provide additional wastewater conveyance capacity to parts of Midtown and Northeast Jonesboro. The contractor is currently constructing the line in the area of the ASU track complex just east of Marion Berry. The project is approximately 80% complete. Wet weather and the contractor’s work on the CWL Main Lift Station project have delayed this project some, and the completion date is now expected to be in late 2021.
