How to Submit a Rebate Application

1. Thoroughly read the Terms and Conditions below.
2. Print and complete the application form, including the signatures of your plumber (for ground source heat pump water heater rebate) and/or HVAC contractor (for heat pump rebate), and sign at the bottom. Incomplete applications cannot be approved.

Terms and Conditions

Heat Pump & Air Conditioning Rebate Program:

	$100 per ton for new Energy Star rated high efficiency air conditioning units
	$150 per ton for new Energy Star rated high efficiency air-source electric heat pumps
	$200 per ton for new Energy Star rated high efficiency air-source dual-fuel heat pumps
	$300 per ton for new ground source geothermal heat pumps
	Rebates limited to 25 tons per location
	Rebates limited to existing facilities only.  New Construction is not eligible

Water Heater Rebate Program:

Rebate:  $200 per new ground source heat pump water heater

General Requirements:

	Rebates limited to new, undamaged, purchased equipment that is to be for permanent installation in an existing residence, business, church or school that will have an active meter receiving CWL electric service and will be paying CWL rates
	All energy conservation rebates shall be subject to approval by an authorized CWL representative, and CWL shall be deemed the sole authority in determining if rebates shall be paid for a specific case.  All such determinations shall be deemed final.
	CWL reserves the right to modify, amend or terminate Project Double Green or any other CWL Utility Conservation Program, in whole or in part, at anytime and for any reason without prior notice.
	Owner is solely responsible for installation of all rebate-eligible equipment to the manufacturers’ specifications.  Owner is solely responsible for obtaining related permits and completing the inspection process as required by local jurisdiction
	Owner agrees that CWL reserves the right to inspect the installation premises or request additional documentation prior to rebate payment
	Qualified rebates shall be made payable to the owner of record of the building at the time of application for rebate.
	Warranty Disclaimer: CWL makes no representations, expressed or implied, regarding the design, installation, construction, reliability, efficiency, performance, operation, maintenance, or use of any rebate-eligible equipment.
	Owner shall indemnify and hold harmless CWL, its’ officers, agents, and employees from and against any and all third party claims, losses, damages, causes of action, suits, and liability of every kind, including all expenses of litigation, court costs, and attorney’s fees, including but not limited to personal injury to or death of any person or for damage to any personal or real property arising out of or in connection with the work performed or products or equipment provided by the contractor.
